PIT Tags
We supply PIT tags in a variety of sizes and styles to many aquaculture facilities around the world. For the most part, these facilities use the GPT12 and APT12 PIT tags that are pre-loaded in trays of 100. We also offer individual tags for use with syringe style implanters and reusable needles, which are used to tag smaller volumes of fish.
Biomark® PIT tags are encapsulated in biocompatible glass, low frequency 134.2 kHz, and provide 100% unique identification. These PIT tags are available in different sizes, performance levels, and packaging options to meet your specific application needs and budget. All PIT tags are ISO (International Organization for Standardization) 11784/11785 compliant and ICAR (International Committee of Animal Recording) approved.

Tissue Sampling Units (TSU)
Scientific advancements in the mapping of genomes, along with continued development of affordable genotyping and sequencing, has changed the sampling industry. Collecting tissue samples has never been more efficient and cost effective as it is with the Biomark Tissue Sampling Unit (TSU).
Each TSU includes a collection tube (vial), metal cutter, and red plastic safety clip and is designed for a single, one-time use. The proprietary liquid buffer is usable in DNA laboratory settings without restraints on existing DNA extraction protocols and provides a stable medium for multiple extractions.

Data Collection Module (DCM)
The BioLogic Data Collection Module (DCM) is an Android software application designed for streamlining data collection and data management. The software is easily customized for collecting many types of data points including RFID codes (PIT tags). The DCM custom data fields and templates may be pre-populated from a user defined list or default value and assigned constraints and validations minimizing errors when collecting data.

PIT Tag Implanters
We supply an assortment of PIT tag implanters and needles to fit all tag sizes, types, and packaging options. These include single use pre-load needle-syringe combinations, single use pre-load needles with applicable implant guns, and reusable needles with reusable syringes.

MK7 Implanter
Plastic syringe-style implanter with 1.25 inch 12-gauge non-replaceable needle. For use with the APT12, HPT9, and HDX12.
N206 Needle*
2 inches long, 6-gauge needle for use with the HPT23, HDX23, and HDX32.
*stainless-steel replacement needles are designed for use with MK10 and Mk165 implanters.
N125/N126 Needles
N125 is a 2 inch long, 12-gauge needle for use with APT12, HPT9, and HDX12. The N165 is 2 inch long, 16-gauge needle for use with MiniHPT8 and MiniHPT10.
